Over the years, and we all know this scenario, we develop different skills and talents. At a point in time, these experiences start to overlap. So I decided to bring my different skill sets back under one roof.
Solar energy was my first technical love. But way back when, no one cared or even knew the technology existed. Many designs and ideas were developed but the time was not right. At that time, we didn’t even put a name on it. Now I call it Systems Solar.
Audio engineering became my focus and after many years of training, the understanding of that audio is likely the most important sense of everyday life, I opened AXL technical for troubleshooting, technical design for professional and engineered sound and communication systems. My passion for understanding how the brain processes sound let me to study psychoacoustics. The study of how acoustics affects our perception of indoor and outdoor space. Once I understood the issues in a space, I designed and built the acoustic treatments to solve the problems.
Media and Education
Working with people was always a pleasure for me. Having had the opportunity to teach my skills as a designer, service tech, and music producer, I developed many courses. These courses brought knowledge to many students who now are working in the industry around the world. This allowed me to spend over a decade working as the ‘talent’ as a writer, an actor, and as a voice artist. Given my production skills, and my psychoacoustics background, I write scripts that consider the sounds of the words and how they will interact with the listener. Another skill set yet to be noticed. All this creative work is available at TheCrossroads.tv. Which was the name of the TV program I hosted in Istanbul. The Crossroads was produced by KS Medya in Istanbul, Turkey. KS Medya provides creative content for all forms of media.
Nature is paramount for the existence of all life. The effects of humanity are detrimental to its survival. I started Garden Designer CA to address how we interact with the environment and more specifically with noise. Interior design requires consideration for acoustics and I feel that the same is true for outdoor spaces. Why have a nuce garden when all you hear is air conditioning units and traffic.
I thought long and hard about selling products. I’ve been a service provider for over twenty years now. Besides designing and building products for solar energy, I decided that we don’t need to use vehicles to do simple errands. So I worked with a electric bike manufacturer to produce a few select ebikes and an escooter. The name of the line of bikes is called Things That Go E. It’s a play on words from the knights from Monty Python. We want to bring affordable green transportation to Canada.
Now, Systems Solar is working to bring all these talents under one roof. Proper communication, respect for the environment, and efficiency in energy is our goal. To attain this goal I understand that education is just as important as the services and products I supply. We need to now get this message to the world.
